Carton volume comes from the three carton dimensions and from nothing else. Convert them to metres, then multiply them together.
How many cartons fit a container?
How many cartons fit a container depends on the carton, the pallet pattern and the container type. The load for your own order is worked out from these figures and confirmed on your quotation.
Take your cartons and your total volume to that conversation.
How to read the result
Cartons round up, because a part-filled carton still travels as a carton. The volume is the cartons multiplied by the carton volume, and nothing else enters it.
What changes the arithmetic
- Pallets. A palletised load loses floor space to the pallet and the gap above the top layer. It fits fewer cartons than a floor-loaded one.
- Mixed references. Work out one reference at a time, then add the volumes together. Each reference has its own carton.
- Master cartons. A retail box inside a master carton changes the pieces per carton, and the carton with it.
- Other references. Carton dimensions and pieces per carton beyond the nine above are confirmed on your quotation.
Ordering details
An order runs enquiry, quotation, sample approved, order confirmed on a proforma, production, packing and labelling, then shipment with the documents.
There are four order routes:
- a sample;
- a product from the current range;
- that product in your own packaging or colours;
- a product developed to your own drawing or sample.
The minimum for each route is confirmed on your quotation. The three packing formats are bulk cartons, individual retail packaging, and retail packaging carrying your artwork and your barcode. Each one changes the carton.
Documents for your market are arranged with your order and named on your quotation. See which documents apply to your market.
Prices are quoted per enquiry. Your quotation and proforma name the contracting seller. Bank details are issued once, on the proforma, and never changed by email. Call the number on the site before paying a changed account.
