Ceramic, melamine or stainless steel: choosing a pet bowl material
Four materials run through the bowl range: ceramic, melamine, 304 stainless steel and a bamboo stand. Three questions decide between them. Those questions are weight in the carton, how a bowl survives transit and a shelf, and the document your market asks you to produce.

Weight and packing
Weight is the first figure to compare, because it sets what a carton weighs and what a shelf carries. Ask for weight per piece and pieces per carton against each reference, and compare those two figures first.

Ceramic
Ceramic is the material where the packed format decides your route. Ask how a ceramic bowl is packed for your destination, and have that format named on your quotation.
Ask for a lead and cadmium migration report and the written declaration that goes with it. Name both in your first message.
Melamine
Where a bowl is quoted as melamine or as bamboo fibre, ask which binder holds it. Ask which report covers that material, and have both named on your quotation.
304 stainless steel, and why the grade belongs on the quotation
Ask for the grade to be written against each reference, as 201, 430 or 304, rather than the word stainless on its own. The grade is a commercial difference rather than a label. The steel bowls in this range are 304 stainless steel.
A mill certificate naming the grade for your own file is arranged with your order and named on your quotation. One more question is worth asking on any steel bowl. Ask whether it has an anti-slip base, how that base is fixed, and whether it stays in place when the bowl is washed.
The bamboo stand
Bamboo in this range is the stand, not the bowl. The bowl that sits in it is quoted by its own material, so both parts are named on your quotation. An elevated bowl puts a second part in the carton, so check its packed size and pieces per carton.
Which documents does your market ask for?
Which documents apply depends on the material and on the destination, so name the market in your enquiry. The document types buyers name most often for bowls are these.

Send only logos, images, characters and names that you own or have written permission to use. Your brand and your artwork stay yours, and Baiwei Pets uses them only to quote, to proof and to produce your order. If a design looks like it belongs to someone else, the desk will ask before anything is printed.
Your quotation and proforma name the contracting seller. Bank details are issued once, on the proforma, and never changed by email. Call the number on the site before paying a changed account.
